Job Description

The Event Services Account Manager will be a passionate event team member who will partner with and ensure the long-term success of event customers.  

Responsibilities

  • Event Services Account Manager is responsible for the Sonic Foundry business in assigned accounts
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to assigned event customers
  • Build and maintain strong, long lasting customer relationships
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key event customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of Mediasite Event Services according to customer needs and objectives
  • Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to Sales
  • Identify and grow opportunities within accounts and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
  • Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed with Technical Support and Engineering

Experience & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Experience in delivering event client focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Project management and sales experience in the events industry a plus
  • Mediasite technical ability
  • Bachelors degree in a related field preferred
