Job Description

The Account Manager will be a passionate event team member who will partner to drive new business and ensure the long-term success of new and existing event customers.  

Responsibilities

  • New business prospecting and lead generation
  • Manage and grow sales pipeline to meet goals outlined in compensation plan
  • Build and maintain strong, long lasting customer relationships
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key event customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of Mediasite Event services according to customer needs and objectives
  • Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to management
  • Identify and grow new opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with project management and sales teams to ensure growth attainment

Experience & Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Experience in delivering event client focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Project management and sales experience in the events industry a plus
  • Mediasite technical ability
  • Bachelors degree in a related field preferred
