Job Description
The Event Services Account Manager will be a passionate event team member who will partner with and ensure the long-term success of event customers.
Responsibilities
- Event Services Account Manager is responsible for the Sonic Foundry business in assigned accounts
- Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to assigned event customers
- Build and maintain strong, long lasting customer relationships
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key event customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of Mediasite Event Services according to customer needs and objectives
- Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to Sales
- Identify and grow opportunities within accounts and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
- Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed with Technical Support and Engineering
Experience & Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Experience in delivering event client focused solutions based on customer needs
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Project management and sales experience in the events industry a plus
- Mediasite technical ability
- Bachelors degree in a related field preferred
